About Sonia Sharma-Patry

Wellness Coach, Workplace Advisor
& Holistic Health Champion

Sonia Sharma-Patry is a holistic wellness coach and workplace strategist whose unique journey bridges the worlds of public service, financial leadership, and integrative health. With over 30 years in the federal government—primarily in financial and accounting roles—Sonia observed firsthand how stress, burnout, and emotional fatigue impact both individuals and organizations. Her own health challenges led her to explore yoga, Ayurveda, and complementary holistic therapies, which became the foundation for her personal transformation and her professional mission. As a certified yoga teacher and wellness practitioner, Sonia empowers clients to reconnect with their innate intelligence and resilience. She supports them in developing self-awareness, cultivating emotional balance, and restoring vitality through practices rooted in holistic science. Her approach is grounded in lived experience: she doesn’t just teach tools—she lives them. At Global Mindful Solutions, Sonia brings her full self—warm, real, and deeply human—to her coaching and advisory work. She helps teams and leaders heal the underlying stressors that undercut trust and engagement. Her sessions integrate mindful movement, breathwork, somatic awareness, and evidence-based behavioral strategies to foster safety, clarity, and sustainable change. Guided by her core values of inspiration, joy, and courage, Sonia supports clients in reclaiming presence, discovering inner wisdom, and translating that into a healthier workplace culture. She believes that meaningful transformation begins within—and that leadership grounded in self-care and emotional intelligence becomes contagious.

About Marie-Andrée Bourgouin, CRHA

Leadership Coach, Workplace Assessment Expert
& Bilingual HR Strategist

Marie-Andrée Bourgouin is a seasoned human resources professional with over 30 years of experience guiding organizations through change, complexity, and conflict. Fully bilingual in English and French, she brings a grounded, realistic, and compassionate approach to everything she does—from leadership coaching and workplace assessments to conflict resolution and organizational development. Marie-Andrée’s career has spanned senior roles in both the public and private sectors, including as Managing Director of Human Resources for the Canadian Union of Public Employees and Director of HR Strategy and Development at the House of Commons. She has led national initiatives on harassment prevention, psychological safety, executive development, and return-to-work programs that centered on empathy and transparency. As co-lead of workplace assessments at Global Mindful Solutions (GMS), Marie-Andrée blends her deep HR expertise with structured methodology and project leadership. She co-developed the FLOW methodology—a comprehensive and pragmatic assessment process that combines anonymous surveys and confidential interviews to provide realistic, actionable recommendations for organizational change. While her colleague Philippe handles outreach and mediation, Marie-Andrée leads the technical design, project management, and client-facing deliverables, as well as the facilitation of interventions and one-on-one coaching. Her strength lies in distilling complex workplace challenges into feasible, values-aligned solutions that meet the reality of clients’ resources and environments. Marie-Andrée is also a certified coach and trainer with credentials in MBTI, DISC, and NOVA Global assessments. She is known for her direct, honest communication style and her ability to support leaders through uncomfortable but necessary conversations. Her philosophy is rooted in integrity, empathy, and a belief that silence can be powerful when used to create space for others to feel, reflect, and grow.
Outside of work, Marie-Andrée enjoys walking in nature, exploring music festivals, and finding balance through her interests in holistic nutrition and wellness. She brings this same sense of balance to her professional life—valuing presence over perfection, and guiding clients toward growth they can own. Marie-Andrée is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines and founder of MAB HR Consultation. She is a trusted voice in conflict management, leadership coaching, and workplace culture transformation—always striving to leave each client better equipped, more aligned, and more empowered than before.
